The Nigerian academic calendar for both primary and secondary education has the long vacation for students within the month of August and September annually, it has become a tradition for many parents to engage their wards in different extra-curricular activities during this long holiday.
Queen Luciano Foundation, on her quest to encourage, educate and train children of different backgrounds with academics, skills acquisition, sports and other forms of entertainment in Akure the capital city of Ondo state,
several activities took place during the first week, these events include: academic classes, skill acquisition classes, NGOs talk, games and other sporting activities.
The NGOs talk which was the headline event for the week had Queen Luciano Foundation and the Rotary Club of Akure who were the major partnering NGOs in attendance.
