As part of our mission to encourage and give hope to children who have dreams and potentials in our different communities, and the aim to strengthen and expand philanthropy, Queen Luciano Foundation crew stormed the streets of Akure on a Giving Tuesday a day majorly celebrated in the United States to encourage people to give back in whatever ways they can for the purpose of achieving a world built upon shared humanity and generosity.
On the 29th of November, which was the Giving Tuesday, the team led by the manager at 1:30pm, mobilized to the streets of Akure to give students returning from school a gift pack each. Each of the packs contained writing materials as well as toys for the student to have moments of fun during the holiday. The streets reached include, State Hospital Road, Oke Aro and Araromi.
In line with one of our missions, which is giving hope and strength to children who have dreams and potentials, the Street Offer which was our project for the month of November was a success as it achieved it objectives by encouraging children in the street of Akure academically and also put smiles in their faces as they return home from school. Many of these children thanked the foundation for the beautiful show of love.
